Shipping Container Demand: All Time Record Set

Remarkable Shipping Containers High Demand Creates Shortage

It has only been a few months now and there is already a gigantic change in the requests for shipping containers causing major shortages throughout the entire global shipping industry worldwide.

This unexpected global demand for shipping containers has caught the global shipping industry completely off guard resulting in the biggest shortage of shipping containers in history.

In early month of March 2010, as many people and organizations were attempting to help the crisis in Haiti, people began hearing from many of the larger Corporate members they could not get containers for some reason leaving some questions.

Individuals involved then contacted some of the largest carriers and container sources and their response was that it was mostly a transportation problem.

When the month of May approached, we were then hearing that not only were shipping containers very limited to buy, but that major factory orders for all sizes were gathering in literally all ports of China with no ships and no containers.

Demand In Global Orders – No Containers Available

Last week we learned that TAL INTERNATIONAL CONTAINER CORPORATION and other companies had such a rise and demand for these containers that more than 90% of their ships were in use. More and more shipping companies were at full capacity and yet orders were not completed for weeks with these containers sitting at ports and factories.

Solution Finally Announced

The largest shipping company in the world, Maersk, has now confirmed they are putting the majority of their fleet back in motion immediately, with productions of thousands of new containers expected to be in service beginning July and August of 2010.

This is a hot topic because of the growth and demand for these containers, making big headlines across the globe.

The construction with ISBU’s is at an all time high. I truly believe this trend will not fade anytime soon. The sale of our book below, just released, is showing interest of architects, building contractors and entrepreneurs throughout the globe. Get you book today !

A very interesting article. Not many people think about discuss about how containers are made to be moved. The final price on container depends radically in the cost of transportation, thus finding very different situations of ability.
