Remarkable Shipping Containers High Demand Creates Shortage

It has only been a few months now and there is already a gigantic change in the requests for shipping containers causing major shortages throughout the entire global shipping industry worldwide.

This unexpected global demand for shipping containers has caught the global shipping industry completely off guard resulting in the biggest shortage of shipping containers in history.

In early month of March 2010, as many people and organizations were attempting to help the crisis in Haiti, people began hearing from many of the larger Corporate members they could not get containers for some reason leaving some questions.

Individuals involved then contacted some of the largest carriers and container sources and their response was that it was mostly a transportation problem.

The largest shipping company in the world, Maersk, has now confirmed they are putting the majority of their fleet back in motion immediately, with productions of thousands of new containers expected to be in service beginning July and August of 2010.
