I recently visited  containerhome.info (an excellent web site about shipping container homes) and found this article about one of the latest container home designs today called the “Jackaroo“.

I want to give full credit to containerhome.info for this information in respect that I am adding it to my site. So, with all said, here it is:

Introducing the latest free design resources for containerhome.info readers and members – An ongoing collection of Shipping Container House Plan Presentation Sets.   The presentation sets are intended for design inspiration and/ or obtaining bids only.   The design plan sets will include three-D renditions,  uncomplicated plans with proportions, areas, characteristics, elevations, & simple divisions.   The demonstration sets are marked “Not for Construction” and a contractor can’t lawfully construct from the design plans marked in this way. Utilizing three x twenty’ HC Type 1A Containers, pier foundations and a simple gable roof, the Jackaroo is more or less as low-priced of a container home design as is imaginable and the open interior floor plan is highly flexible and pliable while providing an extended assortment of interior layouts and arrangements. Interior room detachments are possible thru non structural interior walls.   Intended practical applications

If happen to be a Member of ContainerHome.info, you will be able to download a copy of the Jackaroo three-D model in the Members Area.   You’ll be capable of modifying and altering to your personal specifications of the design model in the ContainerHome3D Software any way you want. Download the model file .vb3 and place it in the “projects” folder under the main software install.     I have been interested in this application for years. Where in Northeast Texas could I buy/view some of these uses?
    Thanks. I see this as an under appreciated and under used application, especially in situations like weather crises such as on the east coast and tornado prone areas in Texas.
